My application reached them on 22nov but ,my friend's application for his wife reached them on 15th and he got the "application received" email yesterday @ 8 pm.

From what I've read, it's quite random who gets a confirmation, when they get it and how the get it (if at all). I've read it depends on the reviewing officer.

We have confirmation from the post that it was received on the 03rd of November, but haven't received any notification whatsoever.

Did you all tried the IMM 5401 code plus the sponsor information on the e-cas??

hey guys,
i want to ask a question regarding bank statement.i been nominated through SINP under economic class, and also had job offer letter.since my sister in canada is my sponsorer so i submit her bank statement of $10,000 canadian dollars.now few of my friends in this forum saying that i should submit my own bank satatement of $10,000 canadian dollars.
now my question is that there was no such thing in check list that i have to must submit my own bank statement.now please guide me what could i do now because i had already submit my application,so will it work(i mean my sister bank statement) or they will definitely ask for my own bank statement.plz help

Those of you who can log in to ECAS maybe could answer my question please:

Today I log in to a section where you can change your address on cic.gc.ca website just to check if they have the correct address of me. Surprisingly there was no address, so I just entered my address in the system and got a message that it will take 15 days to update my address!!

I am wondering if your address shows up when you log in to your ECAS?!!
I'm panicking , and I don't even know if I'm supposed to or not!!! :'(
