Thank you Louise86. I am attempting to remain calm. My husband said the same thing, it's just one more day. I am just nervous of it not getting to the right place and it getting lost wherever it does wind up.

we fully know how you feel...the best thing you can do is to try not to stress yourself to much, keep tracking it, they will keep updating the status of your package regularly. im sure it will get there a little faith

No, as of yet it's not there, the Purolator site says it's in Toronto right now, they assure us it will be delivered tomorrow, but they still can't tell us exactly where it's being delivered until it is received. And if that isn't circular logic nothing is...I am beside myself with worry.

As usual, my husband was right, it got there. As of this morning. Cassandra at reception in the processing center of 2 Robet Speck Parkway is in possession of my application. So now we wait....

And continuing the good news...CIC FINALLY updated the processing timelines this week and Sponsor approval has decreased one more day to 67 days! Yes it's a small number, but hey, it's better than an increase!

The processing time is now 67 days. Although there are some September applicants who got approved in 60-63 days!

It's only one day but gosh darnnit I'll take it! The news about the counterfoil not being needed on exempt countries (of which I am part of) I hope will also cut down on time.

I hope this positively effects everyone, because if they cut out the exempt countries it should free up CIC for doing other things, right? And that means faster processing times.

Welcome Mrslwsn!

Express post via the post office would not be considered courier, and can therefore go to the P.O box address. Courier would be like Purolator, Fedex, UPS, DHL
