Notice of Assessment or Option C

Hello everyone

I am about to sponsor my wife (Outland application)..I just wanted to know have any of you applied with your notice of assessment of the current year instead of Option C print out..and if yes..was the sponsorship approved??

Using an NOA won't disqualify you, but it could cause delays. NOA is not the same as an Option C.

Even your most recent notice of assessment can change but an option C printout is a final document containing info about your most recent taxation year.

If you search (i.e. google) what an Option C is, you will find it is just a detailed notice of assessment. You can log into your on-line My Account and get all of your tax information and just print the detailed equivalent to the Option C. If you have your "My Account" set up you can get this in less than 5 minutes, free.
