We need to include the T4 and notice of assessment, my partner hasn't filed tax we are yet to.. he only has his NOA from 2019 but t4 for 21/22 can we include the most recent T4 / NOA from 2019 and write a letter to explain we haven't filed tax yet bc we're going to do it as common-law?

Isn't 2021 the most recent T4 / NOA? Or 2020 if your spouse is self-employed?

I would at a minimum file for 2020 as common law and have that return before you apply.

Agree that you need at least one year showing that you have declared yourselves as common law on your taxes.
