Hi guys,
I am trying to get my mom to visit me in Canada from Albania. I am a Canadian citizen and I do meet the Low Income Cut Off amount to sponsor her which is $23,298. I have sent proof of my bank statements , investments etc. Since me and my fiance both have savings we surpass this amount but unfortunately based on my last NOA it doesn't really match because I used to work at the bar for 8 years and this is tips I have saved over these years. My fiance hasn't worked as well in the last 2 years because he sold his business and put himself through school. We have 3 cars and we can afford for her to come but the Visa Officer has asked her to provide them with :
-Confirmation of number of persons in your daughter's household.
-Notice of Assessment (NOA) for 2012 for your daughter and any other adult living in the household.
Right now I am 7.5 months pregnant, I work part time doing HR for an Insurance company, and I am going on mat leave at the end of this week. I am worried that if I do send my NOA for 2012 it will be too low and I don't want her to be rejected. My fiance just graduated from Civil Engineering 2 weeks ago and he is going through interviews and looking for jobs. Do I have any other options I could present the Visa Officer with in order to issue my mom the visa (note I didn't apply for a Supervisa for her because she is only staying a few months). I can't imagine having this baby without her here, please give me some feedback if anyone has been through this before. Thank you!
