Is it possible to postpone our date of arrival to Canada as part of the private sponsorship of refugees program? We were told on Monday that our travel date to Canada is set for the 4th of February. However, we are unable to be ready on time on such a short notice. I've communicated with the Resettlement Operations Center - Ottawa, asking if this was possible. No answer has been received yet. Any help would be highly appreciated. The travel date is approaching rapidly and we are worried to miss our chance to travel to Canada.

The flights are booked so would try to prepare for your departure since there is no guarantee this will be able to be changed. You were aware that the process was coming to the end.
