hi,
i have recently received caips notes and wanted to know 1) if it mentions the date on which these notes were retrieved from their system. 2)also how soon can you order again. does it create some problem if you immediately order for another one?

1. No, there is no way to know that. However, on the CAIPS there is a section for IO's remarks, that has a date & the initials of your IO. thus, u can incur what was the last posting on your CAIPS notes. It looks like:
============ AKG 12/01/2010 ============

2. U can order again imdtly. But will that solve any purpose? It's good to have the CAIPS once we r nearing our meds. 'Coz, before that there'd be hardly anything to dwell upon.

3. There's no prob in getting as much CAIPS as possible. The CAIPS r independent of the CHC; and your IO wouldn't know.

When did you order the last one? From one previous example it seems that the information available in CAIPS is around 10-15 days old from the date of receiving of CAIPS.

That means your CAIPS were sent before your file was 'paper screened'. This will be sorted-out when u apply for it again, next time.

i have another question though about the bring forward date. some ppl say its the date they planned to open your file incase its not lost or remained untouched and will not necassarily let you know... some say its the date they planned to update your status and will inform you.. any idea whats the real deal?

The BF'D is the date our VO/IO 'reviews our file', from time to time. On our entire case process timeframe, we get many such BF'Ds.
