Regarding the statutory declarations, presumably the people who write them for us have to get them notarised? If so, what do they have to brin with them? Assuming the letter and ID?

Also, just spoke to a lawyer who told me I need a Notary public rather than comission of oaths.. Is this the case?

Thanks to all for your help!

Yes, the people who wrote the letters have to get them notarized and yes, their ID and the letter is what is needed.

My partner's mom in England took her letter to her solicitor, who notarized it. I believe that many, if not most, solicitors are notary publics as well
