Hello Experts,

I have a question regarding notarizing the documents. I am planning to submit an affidavit and a translated copy of my birth certificate along with my application.

I got both the affidavit and translated copy of birth certificate done in India and both of the documents are notarized by notary public in India. Will this be sufficient or i need to have the documents notarized in Canada?

Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

I think this will be sufficient.

Hello,

I only have my high school diploma showing my D.O.B and parentage.

Would that be sufficient as a proof of Birth Certificate?

Thanks,
prashant7

The checklist clearly says "Birth Certificate" as a required document

You are good to submit it, if it has your full name, DOB and your parent's name (either father or mother or both).

That should be OK, but you also need a certified copy of the original language document.

Thanks a lot everyone. I got the documents notarized

Also got the copy of BC notarized
