Hi Guys,

I have one confusion. I am applying through Buffalo Visa Office.

On Visa Specific Checklist for Buffalo it is mentioned as below.
====
Gather documents as listed. Check () each item on the checklist and attach the checklist to your
documents (a paper clip will do). Place all documents in a sealed envelope. Do not send originals unless
otherwise stated. Send notarized photocopies of all documents except the police certificates, which must be
originals. If your documents are not in English or French, send a notarized (certified) translation with a copy
of the originals.
===

Afterwards in the checklist ...only some of the documents have mentioned to be notarized and some of them not.

Should I notarize all the copies or to notarize only where it is specifically mentioned.?

Thank you all for your inputs.

Canadp.

i think you only have to notarize what they asked to be notarized.

I notarized everything because its free where i am and certifying doesn't hurt. But you don't have to do that. you can just certify what they ask.

Thank you,

It is really costly here around 7-10$ for each signature in US.

i did it free in the US. go see a bank manager to see if they can certify it

The banks do notorize for free in US.
You should notorize any document that you not sending as an original and is a photocopy.If you are sending orignial they obviously cannot be notorized.
