not renew work permit after 6 months

i applied renew my work permit from last October and till now my file in process. they ask me to submit other documents also i submit in march till today they not finilize. so what is the next step? i have pnp approval also. the big problem is i have 2 minor child and school want immigration papper for further study. plus driving licence also going to expired. if any one know solution please let me know.
