I’m in a bit of a situation. I left my home country 13 years ago and since then I only visited for a max of 3 months. In 2010 my father « employed » me in his company as a sales manager. At that time I was studying in England. It was done purely for experience purposes (towards pension ). My official employment there was terminated in 2013 when I moved to France.

I don’t plan to claim points for this experience and frankly I didn’t even want to mention under personal history since i didn’t actually do that job. But on my mariage certificate it says Sales manager under occupation. What is the best course of action here?

U were employed in one country and studying in another??

If u can justify that u were doing work remotely and at the same time studying then only u can justify otherwise u can’t.

It’s strange that u have your position mentioned on your marriage certificate. I would suggest include an LOE and explain the reason why u took this job truthfully. Since this isn’t a fraud so ur application won’t be rejected
