Not received canada visitor visa

I’m in London studying MBA on tier 4 student visa and had applied for Canada visitor visa on 11th March, 2019. It has been 40days since I had applied for visas and not got response.
My biometrics were also done on 15th March, 2019. I’m not getting a valid response from immigration department or anyone. Cannot receive any help and stuck as I still not received passport submission letter so that I can get visas.

I have made booking for my travel from 30th April but now since my visa have not arrived I’m worried about my travel.

You should never book travel before having the visa. The visa application will take as long as it will take - have you logged into GCKey to see what the status is listed as?

Status is the same - application is being processed.

Then it's being processed until it isn't. Sometimes it takes a lot longer.

Yes I m a gujju and have applied online. God knows what is taking so long

I m from Mumbai. Submitted itinerary, travel details, hotel bookings, passport details, sponsor letter, passbook and bank statements, cover letter n forms online. Like submitted everything that they need.

You have such a strong profile even they are taking a long time to grant a visa.. that's really frustrating. i applied paper based and got visa in just 8days.

I don’t understand what can be done now. Should i visit canada high commission office in london? Or VFS office where I went for biometrics?

VFS may not have proper answer. Reach canada high commission and they will surely help you. let me know if you get any update.

monday is a bank holiday... we too applied feb 15, did biometrics on 19th feb...still waiting for the result. wanted to attend brothers wedding...which we missed as it took place last week. even sent an email to cic london but didnt get a reply apart from a general automated reply. still showing the same status that was showing 2 months ago...we are reviewing,doing background checks etc.

You won't be allowed to enter the Canadian High Commission

Try to reach them through Web form. may be you can get update through this way. what exactly your gckey shows?
