Not received any update from CIC for my PR after 5 months - FSW scheme

Hello,

I have received ITA from CIC in March 2017 under FSW category and have accepted and submitted the complete application on April 25 2017.
My spouse and myself have even undergone medicals as at that time it wasnt sure if we need the medicals before or later. Nevertheless we got the medicals done and submitted the whole application along with full fees.

As of know I only see that the application is in progress, medicals being evaluated - the routine status for the past 5 months.

Is this normal? Is any one else in the same boat?
Please give your expert or experienced views.

Hi,

medicals are normally cleared in a weeks time. I am not sure why its under progress for so long. Which hospital did you get it done? Contact the hospital and make sure they have uploaded the medical report.

I have just contacted the hospital and they said they have uploaded the documents that time itself to CIC.
Is there any thing else that I can do or check?

You can raise a Case Specific Enquiry to CIC. But normally they reply only if the application has exceeded the normal waiting times (Which is 6 months). You can try though.
