Hello guys,

Silly question but I am a bit concerned.

Now that the cut-off scores are low, I was wondering if it is OK not to mention some of my qualified experience, as well as my partner's because it's going to take a while to get them from our previous employers. I believe it's ok and as long as we have enough points to be picked up it shold be fine, but isn't it like lying for example?

In my partner's section it says: does he have any experience in Canada (he does) but since it'll just give us 5 extra points, we don't want to ask his previous employer for a record of employment. I chose "No", which is not entirely true.

Yikes.

Thank you!!!

You only have to mention the employment in the work history section for which you want to claim points for.

For all other employment you must add it once you receive an ITA in the personal history section.

Thank you for yor help.

So can you confirm that if I say that my partner has 0 experience in Canada (even though he does) is not going to be considered as misrepresenting ourselves?

Regards

Correct as long as you declare such employment in the personal history section.
