Hello,

I got my ITA on Apr 25 and must submit my EAPR by 24 July. I am the primary applicant and applying with spouse.
We are from India but staying overseas and have applied for PCC through the embassy here. I received my PCC in no time but my husband's PCC is pending and unfortunately there is no ETA from the embassy. They just said that the passport is old and police verification needs to be carried out all over again as in case of fresh passport. We submitted the required form with all the details but nobody came for verification back in India till now. I am worried that we won't get it by 24 July as the process seems to be super slow.

Would we still be able to submit the EAPR giving some affidavit for husband's PCC? We would definitely submit it as soon as we receive but how do we convince the immigration authority?
Please help!

Thanks in advance.

You should use LOE to explain your situation. Show all the proof that you has tried all the methods to get the PCC (your chat logs, the forms...), and it may take longer time to get it. So they can put your file on hold.

Adding to what @romrumrira said, you should also attach the payment receipt for the PCC that you have applied for as part of the LOE

Upload acknowledgement letter stating you have applied for PCC, and fee receipt. After that, upload an LOE mentioning about it.

Even if you show the proof all the members above mentioned, you might get a rejection if you don't show proof that you applied for pcc well in advance and not in the last week or so.

Thanks everyone for your reply. We have applied for PCC within a week after getting ITA. Is there any specific format for the LOE you all mentioned?
