My parent was asked to take the sputum culture about 2 weeks ago and today we received another email with IMM 1017E form. Does anyone know what is this test for?

Depends what the outcome was of the sputum culture. It's possible one or both of your parents may have to go through additional test or even treatment.

Thanks @scylla . I guess so too. Just not sure whether it's normal that the result is back before the 8 weeks period which was mentioned a lot by other people in the forum.
