Normal CSQ VS PEQ-CSQ

HI,
I am an international student doing masters from Concordia university, Montreal. Same time i am trying to do some french courses in order to reach intermediate french level to be eligible for PEQ as i am planning to apply for Canadian PR in near future. My question is it worth of putting so much effort in obtaining PEQ or should i go for normal CSQ, as i heard the only difference between Normal CSQ VS PEQ-CSQ is the processing time (almost 6 to 8 months)? is that the only difference?

Yes, processing times for PEQ are MUCH MUCH faster.

Also, QSW (regular program) is not open at the moment, but if you qualify for PEQ you can apply anytime (according to current regulations).

So advice needed.. I am not a francophone, i am learning french to get PEQ but it's getting hard now to continue it with studies, so is it worthy enough to keep continuing it until i reach the required level or should i go for the normal one and hope some changes in Quebec Immigration will make the processing time short.

Only you can make that decision.

If you're close to achieving B2 level, I'd push on with studying French.

Thanks bro..I am around the start of B1... I was pretty determinant to do it but lately i am struggling with time issues.. Anyways as you said only i can make this decision..
I will take advice from some seniors and then decide... Thanks again..
