I submitted my citizenship application in January 2024 and completed the citizenship test in March 2024. In July 2024, I was called in for an interview. During the interview, the IRCC officer simply verified my ID, and the entire process lasted about one minute. He mentioned that everything in my file looked good.
Since then, I have contacted IRCC multiple times, but I keep being told that my application is considered “non-routine.” I have not been given any explanation as to why it was flagged this way, and I’m unsure how to proceed or what steps I should take next.
