I declared to be a non-resident ten years ago, but each time I visited Vancouver, I have problem in Immigration counter at airport, they queried me why I returned to Canada and just stayed 2 weeks, and then they marked my immigration(customs) slip I was a visitor, and then my baggages were checked by customs thoroughly. After few years I visited Vancouver again, I wrote on the immigration slip I was a visitor, then the immigration queried me why I was visitor and then crossed it and then my baggages were strictly checked again. The question is how I fill in my status in the immigration slip, resident or visitor??
