Hi everyone, I just got my Permanent Residence (PR) photos taken at Staples for a non-Express Entry application, and the back only has the store's studio stamp with their address and the date taken. My name and date of birth are missing, so I want to confirm if Staples missed a step or if I am supposed to handwrite those personal details myself? If I write them on the back, will IRCC reject the application, or is this what everyone normally does? Also, if you have done this yourself, what specific type of pen is safe to use so the ink does not bleed through to the front or smudge? Thanks in advance for the help!

Yes, you need to write your name and date of birth on the back of the photos yourself. Staples just takes the photo and adds their studio stamp. The personal details are your responsibility. Use a fine-tip permanent marker or ballpoint pen, press lightly so it doesn't indent through to the front. Let it dry before putting the photos in an envelope.
