NON EU STUDENT ON STUDENT VISA IN THE EU HAVING SEND PASSPORT FOR VISA

Hi Everyone,

I would like to know if anyone among you have a student visa in any European country valid till November 2010 and has send passport to the Canadian embassy for PR stamp.

In case the passport is not back before or on the date the student visa expired, What will happened and what can be done?

TO NOTE:-
In case student visa is expired and same has not been renewed immediately, one is considered illegal in the country.

All forum members who has had similar problems in the past are welcome to share with us and any members who knows about this particular problem do give us your feedback.

In EU you will have 30 days on top of expiration of your visa to apply for extension, after 30 days you have to explain the foreign office why you were late, but as par EU law exp date+30 days if your visa is not extended (or application is not filed) you have to leave the country. Contact your local CHC explain them the situation.
