Non canadian Work experience proof for spouse

Hi, I am the primary applicant. We showed 3 years of work experience of my spouse (non canadian experience). I the checklist on CIC website it says we need to submit the work experience proof of spouse only if it is canadian experience. I received ITA and now in the section where I am supposed to upload the documents, i can see that it is asking me to upload the work experience proof of spouse also. my husband's boss is very unwilling to help and wont give it easily. What to do.
Please help.
