Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Guys, this is so confusing. I'm applying to the VO Sao Paulo and in the Country Guideline number 12 is saying that if I have family members who do not intend to emigrate to canada with me, i must submit a notarized statutory declarion.

And it says they need to do medical exams.

My partner and I who are applying. I have my sister and parents well based in Brazil and they dont want to live here. And we dont have Kids.

I find this part so confusing.

Please, help anyone

I need to write a letter saying that my parents will not come with me?

No, you don't need to do anything for your parents or siblings as far as medical exams. You do need to list them on your Schedule A.

The only people you would need to get exams are children. In this case "family member" means you, your partner/spouse, and dependant children.

Family members

Family members include a spouse, a common-law partner, dependent children, and the dependent child of a dependent child:

The sponsorship guide contains the definition of "family member" as amikety has noted.

Yes, write N/A then make sure to sign below the dependants section declaring you have no dependants. It's easy to miss that signature line :)
