hi ,
will someone please answer my question.actually i had applied under skilled category in 2007 and now my file is nearly going to open.when i had applied my case that time i was single,i have got married last year.my wife dont want to move to canada never ever,even i dont want to take her along with me bcoz we dont have good relation and understanding and so i m affraid tht because of my marriage they r going to ask her documnets like police clearence and medical etc for which she is not going to help me.i have heard about "NON-ACCOMPANYING FAMILY MEMBERS DECLARATION", tht if i give an affidiavt tht i dont want to take my wife along with me to canada and i understand tht after wards she can only come to canada on her own merits.than i dont have to submit any of her document to cic.since i have got married i have nt informed embassy about tht.please guys help me and give me u r valuable advice.please help me wat can i do?

1. I can make out only from what you mentioned that you married after submission of file. If you had not informed about your marriage to VO till date then keep silent till you get visa.

2. If you mentioned about your marriage then you will be required to submit all documents relating to your wife, marriage, education, passport copy, background declaration , address proof and even medicals of your wife- even if she is non accompanying member. I feel when the relations turn sour it is easier to take horse to water than spouse.

3. In case you are able to get divorce then it is all right. That decree of dissoloution of marriage is good enough.

BAD ADVICE If he doesn't mention his wife, (ignoring the letter that states you must inform CIC/CHC of all changes in family status) and he lands and lies that he is not married. CIC/CHC will report him for misrepresentation and will remove him from Canada.
 
actually i had already mentioned her name in my new passport .so wat is NON ACCOMPANY DECLARATION if still i have to submit her documents..will u guys help me in tht
