NOC help

Hello,

I am new to this forum and I am hoping to obtain suggestions.
I was almost done applying for my pr application under CEC. I am an MSc graduate.
I have worked on a contractual basis for 10 months (NOC: 2112) and 3 months (NOC:4012). The last 3 months were as a RA at the University.
The thing that stops me before applying is that my last experience of 3 months (NOC:4012) is referred as skill type C in the NOC classification website. I do have that in my work contract as well. Will this affect my application.

I would be happy to receive feedback.

Hi,

Only work experiences under Skill Level 0, A, B positions will be counted towards CEC.

NOC 4012 is Skill Level A , not Skill Level C

1) My PR application (CEC) is under progress now and received AOR on Sep 4 2012. Just realized that my Work Permit (Intra Company Transfer from Mumbai to Montreal) had NOC = 0213 and I mentioned NOC = 2173 in CEC application. Do you think they may reject my application?

2) Also in my company's letter, NOC code was not mentioned. Would that cause application to be rejected?

3) Is there something I can do now before it gets rejected?

1. if you have received AOR which means your file is ready for processing after initial check (NOC,application completness all happens at this stage)
2. NOC will not be mentioned by any companies. its a term used and set by HRSDC and CIC.. not to be known to companies..so you are fine
3. You dont need to do anything.. once a VO is assigned you will be informed of further actions

if there is anything i would think is as per NOC ur skill matrix is level A(0213) but you have mentioned Level B(2173)...just see the IELTS band and see if you have enough score required for Skill Level A ...

Aggregate=7.5
R=7
W=7.5
L=7.5
S=7.5
Not sure if it qualifies for Level A, now that they have updated the site to lower IELTS but for me old benchmark would be applicable, no?

new ielts score lowering is only appplicable for skill level B...not for Skill A...the band requirements still stays the same for level A if i am not wrong.
so if your score is eligible under old formats...u dont hve to worry... saying that all depends on the VO who is looking at the file. most of times they ask for clarifications and more documents..so u should be fine.
