NOC for Special Education------- Need advice from Qorax

Hi Qorax or anyone who can help,

I and my wife have applied under NOC code 3143 (Occupational therapist). She has been working in schools for children with special needs for 3.6 years now. She is a M.Sc in Applied Psychology and has three certifications in speech therapy as well although did not completed the diploma which meant total of 6 certifications. Her JDs are mostly as mentioned in the job description for Occupational therapists.. we are doing this process on our own and did not get help from any consultant. I just wanted your advice as to if we have decided correctly????? and also if you can shed any light on as to what kind of chances of success are for 3143 NOC code....

3143 is very much in the 38 list. And your wife's Quals + Exp fits the bill, hope she is the PA [as u didn't write about yours]. So u guys r set to go...

Thx - i and my daughter have applied as well as her dependants. i am currently unemployed with a bacherlors in political science and 6 years of working experience in customer services. the last position i held was Asst Manager customer relations in a Telecom in Pakistan. Our daughter is 4 months old.

Hi, Haral

If you left the job just few month before then no problem as dependent may she will get 3-4 points out of 5. But you need to send the attested copy of experience letter and Bachelor degree. If you will get job during application process you can update information at any time to make sure that your wife can get proper points.

yeah i left in Nov-09. currently in process to get another job as a trainer in another telecom... if i dont get a job during the process, will it effect my wife`s chances to qualify since she is working and its her NOC which makes us eligible to apply?
