I'm new to this forum.
I just encountered a problem when trying to finalize my application (post-ITA).
I'm trying to claim points for my past work experience as a math grader and a math tutor in my undergraduate department at a well-known US university. However, I was not able to find an NOC code that sufficiently matches the job descriptions for these two positions. Basically the tutor job was to tutor students taking undergraduate math courses, while the grader job was to grade the homework and exams for the math courses.
My main NOC is 4012 (for my teaching/research assistantship as a current PhD from the US) so I'm tempted to also use this as the code, but the descriptions for 4012 don't seem right. The lead statement might work, but the grader job only matches the last bullet point under "teaching assistants", while the tutor job matches none... I think my only other choices are 4021 "College and other vocational instructors" and 4216 "Other instructors", but they don't sound right either...
