You can e-mail: NC-NOC-CNP-GD@hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca. with your duties and responsabilities.

They can help you select the right NOC code.

Cheers ;)

I emailed the other day with mine to see if I could get a more accurate NOC. I sent off all the info needed as I had done it before and I got back "Due to the limited information you have provided..."

I sent them another email worded a little differently.

Let me know if they do help as I've been recommending that e-mail to people lol :P

@ Kryt0n,
interested to hear back from you on - what is needed to get an answer back on NOC ? and how much time does it take for them to review and reply back.

I just sent them
Job title
Type of company
duties
job requirements
anything extra

I sent this over two emails last time as I immediately realised I'd missed something off. I'm guessing they may only have read the most recent email.

The first time I asked for a NOC I got a reply in a couple of hours. In this instance I emailed on Sunday and got a reply a few hours ago.

They seem to be pretty quick however I think it is just going to a poor couple of employees who search the NOC database just like us and make a best guess - it's not 100% accurate.

But either way.... still think it is better to get their response and go with it ....i.e. if needed change the NOC in the application from 'what we initially thought' to 'what they think', correct ?
... to avoid chances of misrepresentation, thus resulting in rejected PR ?

There email even says it's a suggestion and it's up to you to find the correct one. It's a good guide though

It is more than a week and I got no reply from them.

I provided them all the details as below:

- the exact job title;
- a detailed description of the main duties;
- the education and work experience required by the employer for entry into the occupation; and
- the type of establishment in which the work is performed.

Hope someone here replies to my query.

Same thing here..... been a week now since i originally emailed all the above information from their initial automated response.
I believe that lot of folks have had different experiences on this - some get a reply promptly, others may never get one/it might be delayed.
