Hi,
When applying under CEC does CIC consider NOC job education/experience requirement that are indentified with NOC or resposibity/duties??? or both??

Only job duties and responsibilities mentioned with NOC code

thanks pmpm
reason i asked because i went to see lawyer otherday and he told me that i might create some problem if you dont have NOC job related education or several years of experience. that really confused me because on cic website it says

If the details and list of main duties for a job under NOC skill types 0, A or B match what you did while you worked in Canada, your job is likely in that group. If it does not, look at the list to see if another job matches your experience.

that is why i was thinking as long as i have 1 year of skilled experience i should be able to apply.
correct me seniors if i m wrong.

This would be true in the FSW program, not CEC.

However, if you were telling CIC you were a MD, pharmacist or lawyer with no previous experience or education in this field, they may query it ;)
