Hi, Thanks for this forum, which helped me to get clarity on many concepts related to EE.
Now I am at a stage where I can apply for EE but confused with my NOC codes. Need help with getting the right NOC codes. I worked for a bank as a consultant . Below are my two Job descriptions. For Job description 1,I feel it is NOC 1114 and Job discription 2 it is NOC 1122. or I may be wrong.

Job duties 1- worked as consultant for a bank in Compliance department
  • Generating and analyzing KYC reports for Retail, SME and private banking customers.
  • Ensure strict adherence to group high-risk countries, Sanction countries.
  • Constitutional documents verification to ensure strict adherence to Central Bank policies and regulations
  • Conducting Quality assurance for KYC (Know Your Customer) process and ensure appropriate remedial and disciplinary action is taken if breaches are identified.
  • Administer matters relating to codes of conduct, the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), FATCA, Anti-money laundering (AML) regulations, and terrorist-financing activities
  • Be familiar with rules, regulations and best business practices and ensure dissemination to all in the organization
  • Explain the process of how compliance risks are to be identified and manage through all levels, when required provide training to new joiners.

Job Duties 2-
• Designations held: Internal Auditor (Initially hired as MIS Analyst then re designated for 2nd project from 1st April 2013 as Internal Auditor)


▪ Visit bank branches to conduct quality audits as part of compliance for retail banking customers.
▪ Verification and processing of constitutional documents like Trade license and Memorandum of association.
▪ Analysis of bank documents for customer due diligence.
▪ Maintenance of operational documentation and create database.
• Preparation of reports, Co-ordination of work and analysis of data for management information. Do routine data entry on excel and other applications.

when you choose a noc code, you need to select the most relevant one to your duty. So what you need is to compare these two options in depth then take a look at your current occupation, duty and responsibilities and stay on the most proper one.
