I am planning to apply for EE right now, can anyone help me to figure out which noc code would be suitable for my position? I got hired as a quality control specialist but I found this title is classified under engineer or chemistry category. I want to switch to a different title, can anyone suggest?

General duties:
Responsible for the tracking and fulfillment of completed credit card and banking product applications. The role ensures the requirements are met on all processes, procedures, and best practice that impact the key performance indicators of company's application completion, fulfillment and card activation deliverables. This will include application inventory, shipping and handling of all completed paper and electronic applications.

Key responsibilities include:
1. Application inventory tracking
2. Application quality review
3. Application receiving and delivering process for both paper and electronic based applications
4. Handling inquiries and escalations with sales field and office departments
5. Generating reports for executive team members
6. Involvement and assistance with departmental tasks such as schedule importing and printing.

What I would suggest is to go through the catalog: find your area of profession first and work your way down.

Keep in mind that your NOC should match your actual duties and not your designation/title. There are similar classifications in different fields, that's why I recommend a top-down approach.

If it's still unclear you can send an email to NOC and they should be able to help you.

Good luck!

While selecting the NOC, the duties and responsibilities mentioned in the NOC should be a close match with the actual duties and responsibilities carried out by you at the respective job. You need not match the duties and responsibilities word by word, but the idea is to have the closest match in terms of the spirit of the duties and responsibilities (at least 60%-70% match).

Also, NOC should be selected on the basis of the match of actual duties and responsibilities carried out by you rather than the designation match in the NOC list. However, still if you need an expert opinion, I would suggest that you write to noc@workingincanada.gc.ca with your duties and responsibilities, they will help you find the closest fit.
