NOC Code for Electrical/Instrumentation Supervisor

Hello all,

I was hired by my company as a full-time electrical engineer in 2014. Since mid-2015, I've been filling in as an interim Electrical/Instrumentation supervisor (the main supervisor is away on medical leave).
I am expected to return to my engineering role once my colleague returns from his leave.

I have mentioned only the engineering job (NOC 2133) in my work history and have listed that as my current job, as I still hold that title.
Given that I'm also supervising, should I mention the supervision as the current job? Any idea on what the NOC code should be?

The designation/job title does not matter in deciding the NOC, NOC depends on your duties and responsibilities. If you are not sure about your NOC, you can write to noc@workingincanada.gc.ca with your duties and responsibilities for each company, they will let you know which NOC is the closest fit.

I'm going to submit job descriptions for both roles: electrical engineer and E/I supervisor.
I hope that would suffice besides the recommendation and the verification letters.

For any role that you mention to claim points will need to be supported by reference letter from supervisor/HR and supporting documents like offer letter/appointment letter/employment contract, pay stubs, appraisal letters, relieving letter etc.
