NOC CODE for CNC Machine Operator

Hello Everyone

When I search online for CNC machine operator noc code it shows up two different codes which are 9417(Machining tool operators) and 7231(machinist and machining and tool inspectors). I am confused between two. If anyone knows about it please reply.

yours would most likely be 9417 as you are an operator. 7231 could also mean that you yourself are responsible in making/fixing the machine.

I am doing same job Roles(noc b)as machinist for 2 years but tricky employers are writing it as machine operator(noc c)
If they call it machinist, they have to pay high-wage.

Tell your employer to give you title as a “cnc machinist”
