Dear fellow members,

I am Linux System Administrator residing in India. I am applying as a Federal Skilled Worker via Express Entry. I finished my educational assessment and am ready to apply.

I have worked for more than 3 years as System Administrator whose NOC # is (2281 - Computer Network Technician) however, I don't see my roles and responsibilities under NOC 2281. it's all about Networks. Please advise if I need to choose different NOC #.

I believe NOC 2281 is the closest match for System Administrators in general.
I have a mix of Network/Sys Admin experience and I applied under this NOC too.

Seems like Linux Sys Admin positions are also advertised under NOC 2281, see here:

Have a look at NOCs in the same group also if they match you better:

2281 is good for you. The NOC responsibilities talk about managing Operating System, which is similar to your role.
