NOC choice

hello everyone
my job experience is in assistant teaching at the university (without phd) i want to apply for EE with my master's degree (statistics applied in management), and i am worried about chosing the right NOC, should i chose based on the job experience ? or based on the master's degree ? what happens if i chose the wrong NOC, this is my main concern, because of it am considering hiring an immigration consultant eventhough i know everything and he will just rob me blind

thank you for your answer, i do know the NOC is 4011, so i should use the one based on my job experience not the diploma ? even though i don't have a phd yet ?

If you are a professor, then PHD is required if you are a lecturer then Masters is required.

NOC is same, difference is in educational requirements.
