Hello,

I have received a NOC this August, but I realized my latter two roles fall under 0213 NOC.

So basically here is my history:

1st Job Company A -> NOC 2171 (IT Consultants and Analysts) -> Stayed for 5 years
2nd Job Company B -> NOC 0213 (IT Project Manager/Delivery Manager) -> Stayed for 1 year and 3 months
3rd Job Company C -> NOC 0213 (IT Project Manager) -> Currently employed for 3 months to date.

In my EE application, I tagged all of them as NOC 2171. Upon reading the description of each NOC further, I've realized that the latter two roles fall under NOC 0213. So now that I have received an ITA, I would like to change the latter two to NOC 0213. I dont think the score will change, but I am worried of getting rejected just because of this.

Will this work?

They are asking for primary NOC so I am going to put 2171 as this is the role where I've been at the longest.
But will my latest roles matter?

Change your NOC in PR application and do mention this in LOE about the change.

^thank you! but If I am asked of my primary NOC in the eAPR, I'll just use the one where I had longest experience at right? Doesn't matter if it is not my current job? Well I must say that my NOCs are related (under same umbrella) but not the same code, one is for consultancy and the other is for managerial but both are under Information Technology.

You can claim a Primary NOC if you have 12 months of continuous experience under that. Regardless how old or new that job is.

^thank you very much Mr Preetsingh.

I am just confused as there are mixed inputs on this forum whether I put the latter two jobs (bearing 0213 NOC) under work history or personal history if I am claiming points for the primary NOC (2171), should I put the other two jobs (bearing 0213 NOC) under Personal History now or work history?

My gut says in work history but there are conflicting info

Under FSW, if you get 67 points by mentioning 5 years of experience, then no need to mention current jobs.
Provided, that 5 year job should be in last 10 years only.
