Hi there. This is my first post here so please forgive me if I break any rules of etiquette.

I am hoping to move to Canada and have a simple, two part question, however due to my inept semantics I may word it poorly. The question is this;
I am a trained sign language interpreter and am proficient in British sign language, sign supported English and various other languages here in the UK.
under the NOC 5125 section for interpreters in sign it states that;
"Sign language interpreters perform some or all of the following duties:
Translate sign language to a spoken language and vice versa either simultaneously or consecutively.
Sign language interpreters work in French and Langue des signes québécoise (LSQ) or in English and American Sign Language (ASL).
would my sign qualifications count under the "two years spent working in the required fields,,," and secondly would BSL count as the second language? if not, if i study ASL in the UK and get qualifications here, would they count in Canada?
Many thanks for your time guys.
