Noc 4021 or 4011

I am a senior lecturer in dental college in India. I want to know whether I fall in noc category 4021 or 4011?

Please guide me.

Hi all,
I am working presently as Associate Professor in Orthodontics in a Dental College and teaching both UG & PG dental students.
I am sticking to 4011 for now, as the responsibilities match 90% of NOC code.

However only issue troubling me, is that the reference letter will be issued by college and not university. Will it be an issue later?
The dental?medical Colleges in india work under respective state health universities and duties-promotion criteria etc are strictly under university guidelines and from dental Council of India.

Now can any one really help here pls: shall i STICK to 4011/or CHANGE to 4021?

Job reference letter is always issued by the institution for which you work for,the one who hired you and pays you for your work. I hope this clarifies. Select the NOC with which most of your job duties match.

The NOC 4011title itself says University Lecturer/Professor.
So, will the college ref letter is enough?
I am asking this to avoid problems/delays during processing stage.

I believe it should be 4021 if you work as a lecturer in a college. I chose 4011 as I was working as an Assistant Professor in a University. But at the same time I chose NOC 4011 for my wife also and her designation was Assistant Professor in a College.

2. I already landed in Canada about 1.5 years ago.

Hello, my wife is working as a lecturer in Dental College since last 6 years which is affiliated to university. Her qualification is BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery). Can she select NOC code 4021 while applying? Does this code allow Bachelor’s degree holders to apply?

I am working as a Assistant Professor in a Medical College in the Department of Community Medicine. Can I apply using NOC code 4011?
And also, is it sufficient to get ECA from WES, or should I have to get it from Medical Council Canada?

4011 is for University professors. If you are in a college, then choose 4021
