Do you wait for Document evaluation or ECA report?
I wrote in different thread - ECA from PEBC-
I waited for more than 2 months for Document Evaluation, and now I need ECA report, but I do not know how to send request asking PEBC to send it to me.
I filled the document that required witness to sign (which is as I understood request for PEBC to generate ECA report ), but I didn't get the ECA report. Now I found that there is a fee (100$ -http://www.pebc.ca/index.php/ci_id/3134/la_id/1.htm) that need to be paid before getting ECA report. Are you familiar with this? Any help?
Hi dear,

Just wanted ask how you got your ECA report, my wife’s document eveluation is done and we already got the conformation. Now we need ECA report from PEBC, what we need to do is to send the request form right, i have a few doubts -
1)Witness can be anyone or only the lawyer?
2)How can we pay the fee of 100 CAD, there is no link anywhere to lay that, shall we enclose that in the envolope along with the request letter (will that be acceptable)?

Hello,
1. The witness can be anyone, for example a friend can sign the form. Be sure to fill in the form in English, it shold not be translated.
2. The fee can be paid just with a bank draft or if you have some kind of account in PEBC. Unfortunately, it cannot be paid online. If you have a friend in Canada you can ask he/she to take a bank draft and send it to PEBC on your behalf.

How did you make the payment if i may ask you?
Also an international money order/bank draft addressing PEBC along with the request letter will do?
Could you mind sharing your whatsapp number.

I send the form( that I previously filled in) to my friend in Canada and he sent it along with the bank draft to PEBC on my behalf. (In my country there is no possibility to order a bank draft.)
Sorry but I do not use whatsupp. :( If you have any additional question feel free to contact me here! :)

I worked as Pharmacist for a total of 14 years (both retail & hospital) and I got assessed through WES, because currently I'm unable to get assessment from PEBC. Will I be able to get ITA in this case? Please add me in your whatsapp group.

Dear Friends,

I completed my M Pharmacy and working in the area of Pharmacovigilance from past 3 years. Now I want to immigrate to Canada. Can anyone confirm whether I need to complete the credential evaluation through WES or PEBC.

What is the NOC codes of the jobs in pharmaceutical industries.
Hi , I have certificate of qualification for pharmacy technicians from pharmacy examining board of Canada. Will this get me 50 points under express entry?

Hi,

Recently, I received this email from PEBC.. contains all information you need

The Certificate of Qualification is only issued once you have passed all the examinations. The Document Evaluation Results letter, and the ECA report (if you include the ECA Report Request with your application) are issued upon completion of the document evaluation. Please visit our website as per below, for complete information and instructions.

Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) Applicants

The Pharmacy Examining Board of Canada (PEBC) is designated by the Minister of Citizenship and Immigration Canada as of January 6, 2014 to provide Educational Credential Assessments (ECA) for Principal Applicants intending to apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) for immigration to Canada and for whom Pharmacist would be the primary occupation for their application to immigrate to Canada. Please see the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website (http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/index.asp) for more information.

As of May 4, 2013, pharmacists are not categorized as an “eligible occupation” under the FSWP. New applications from pharmacists are only processed under the FSWP if the applicant has a valid offer of arranged employment in Canada. For pharmacists who applied under the FSWP before May 4, 2013, applications are processed according to the rules that were in effect at that time.

In addition to applying for Document Evaluation, applicants under the FSWP must complete the Request Form for an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) Report. On behalf of Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC), PEBC is responsible for assessing the authenticity and equivalency of the primary pharmacist qualification – the candidate’s pharmacy degree. After PEBC has completed the Document Evaluation process, PEBC will generate an ECA Report which will be mailed directly to the candidate. It is the candidate’s responsibility to submit the ECA Report to CIC, since CIC only accepts original assessments directly from applicants.

Pharmacists’ Gateway Canada

As of August 20, 2014, pharmacists who obtained their pharmacy education outside of Canada will be required to register on the Pharmacists’ Gateway Canada and receive a National Identifier Number before applying to PEBC for Document Evaluation. (Note: This does not apply to candidates who applied for Document Evaluation before August 20, 2014)

PEBC will not be able to process new applications for Document Evaluation unless a National Identifier Number is provided. The cost to register on the Gateway is $325 CAD and is paid via the Gateway.

Any questions or concerns about the requirement to register on the Gateway should be directed to NAPRA (email: gatewayinfo@napra.ca; phone: 613-569-9800).

After having registered with NAPRA Gateway, please visit the PEBC website at www.pebc.ca for all the information you will need to become registered with PEBC at: http://www.pebc.ca/index.php/ci_id/4910/la_id/1.htm

Please also visit the provincial licensing authority for their requirements and procedures at: http://www.pebc.ca/index.php/ci_id/3112/la_id/1.htm

STEP 1 – DOCUMENT EVALUATION: If you received your Pharmacy degree outside of North America you will need to have your documents evaluated. In order to apply for document evaluation you will need to visit our website and click on Document Evaluation where you will find information, including the application and instructions.

http://www.pebc.ca/index.php/ci_id/3116/la_id/1.htm

STEP 2 – THE EVALUATING EXAM: Once you have passed document evaluation you will need to write the Evaluating Examination. Please visit the PEBC website for the application and instructions. The revised syllabus is available under "Preparing for the Examination" of the Evaluating Examination section.

http://www.pebc.ca/index.php/ci_id/3138/la_id/1.htm#withdrawal/refund

STEP 3 THE QUALIFYING EXAM: After you have passed the Evaluating Examination, you must also go through the Qualifying Examination. You will also find the applications and instructions needed for the Qualifying Exam on the PEBC website.

SYLLABUS: You will find a Syllabus outlining the topics and sub-topics you may encounter in the Evaluating Examination which is free of charge from our website, www.pebc.ca, under Evaluating Exam. This booklet assists candidates in preparing for their areas of study for the Evaluating Examination. http://www.pebc.ca/index.php/ci_id/15014/la_id/1.htm

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY TESTING: PEBC does not require language proficiency testing, such as TOEFL, TSE or IELTS. You may wish to contact the provincial licensing authority of the province in which you wish to practice to enquire about their language proficiency requirements.

IMMIGRATION: For immigration questions, please contact your local Canadian Embassy. You do not need to be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident to undergo Document Evaluation or write our exams. You may apply to write the exams in Canada on a visitor's visa. Once you have been accepted to write an exam, if your address is outside of Canada, PEBC will send you a confirmation letter that you can use for visa purposes. Please contact Immigration Canada for complete information about the skilled worker program:
