NOC 2171: Processing time for PPR after Medicals

Friends, just wanted to learn how much time does it take to receive PPR after medicals. I applied under NOC 2171 and wanted all seniors out there who applied under NOC 2171 to share their experience on how time it took to receive PPR after medicals.

I have not received PPR yet but requesting GCMS might give you a better picture on which stage your application is right now..

Yes. I understand that you are looking for the trend. Now, what I am suggesting you (in addition to what you are asking) is to order GCMS so that you know whether your eligibility, criminality checks etc have passed or not and will help you in comparing your stage with someone else who too received medicals but is in a different processing stage* as per GCMS.

*Order of internal processing (i.e Criminality, Medical) varies from one application to other

my noc is 2174. I got ppr after 3days of submitting medicals. It will depend on your VO i guess, whether he is on strike or not

After looking at various time lines. Conservative estimate for non specific to noc is 2.5 months to me..

I agree. But still waiting for receive my passports back. It has been more than 3 weeks now

There's no fixed time to receive PPR after medicals. It's all random. some receive it early while others receive it late. All luck !
