NOC 2171 / 2173

Hi all,

I have received NOI from ontario under Human capital priorities stream under NOC 2173. I have created my EE profile NOC code 2173. But my current canada work experience is for Lead consultant with NOC code 2171 (in work permit and deputation letter). i have previous work experience with NOC 2173 also which is 5 years old. Does Ontatrio process my application further for nomination or do they reject?

Please guide me on this.

Hello Sudhan,

As far as your job description matches with 2173, you are good to go. as you have said your position for Canada work experience is 2171, just wanted to ask that NOC 2171 is written anywhere in your work experience documents. If not, you are safe. Position / designation can be into anything but your job description should match with 2173 code. It is all about how you draft your letters.
