Hello! I've recently acquired a year's worth of experience working as the Head of Receiving for a retail company. I will be applying under CEC. The duties are consistent with NOC 1215 in that I supervise the whole receiving process for the store, oversee the receiving staff and also train them and assign their duties. One issue is that the wage range for the noc is between 15.00 and 36 an hour. My wage has been 15.75 for the last year. Would the extremely low wage be an issue when applying? Thank you :)

I don't think there is such thing like wage range of NOC types for IRCC purpose. As long as you are not applying under FSW you won't need to show proof of funds or anything similar.

The wage being much lower than the median wage wouldn't raise doubts? Wouldn't like a rejection based on low wage.
Why? Don't you think if there were such a rule it would be in the application information? Since there is no such rule, why do so many people try to invent it up?

Sorry, just joking with you. But it is true - There is no such rule.

Hello,

Have you applied under the NOC 1215? Is wage matter? Did you get approved with the $15.75?

I received mine near the beginning of the year. Probably one of the most stressful times of my life. I'm onto bigger and better things now, so everything's worked out for the better. Hopefully you'll get yours soon too!

Hello members,

I have got ITA under draw 176, I have claimed 2 separate work experience under same employer.
1st experience as Retail Store supervisor noc 6211 from November 2018 to Feb 2019 with hourly wage of 14$ that was minimum pay in Ontario

2nd experience as Retail Store Supervisor from Sep 2019 to July 2020 with hourly wage of 15$.

I am now scared reading forums that PR file could be rejected due to low pay. Both of my experience are under same employer. I was just graduated and had no option to except minimum pay as I was getting noc b job. I was unaware that It could be a problem later. Please advise that weather should I continue with my application. Is there any chance they would accept supervisor job at minimum pay?

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Hello, as far as I know for CEC wage is not that important. but i could be wrong. If you are inland, CEC, then should be fine. But get expert opinions too. Also i know of some website where you can check the average wage for your particular NOC code https://www.jobbank.gc.ca/marketreport/wages-occupation/16400/39070 check obviously depending the province you're in. seems like you would be fine as per that link!
