Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hello there.

(July 2014-Present) I am currently working as a Management Trainee (Emerging Leaders Program) Corporate Communications in a government oil & gas organization. The job is a full time position with 40 hours per week. Its a two years contract after which I will be promoted to the Assistant Manager - Corporate Communications position in June 2015. I would like to know whether this will be counted in my work experience? I can get a letter from my employer.

Previously I was working as a Relationship Manager Marketing (April 2013-June 2014)

Furthermore, I would like to know which NOC i should select

1. 1123 Professional occupations in advertising, marketing and public relations
2. 0124 Advertising, marketing and public relations managers

I am currently doing 90% of the same duties mentioned in NOC 1123.

Kindly help at the earliest.

Thanks and regards.

Hi,

As far as I understood a 0124 NOC is for someone who have been actually managing people/departments, not just advertising/marketing campaigns and etc.

So if your experience consists mostly of purely advertising activities - I would have picked 1123.
That's what I was relying upon anyways. :)
Hope it helps,

As for the trainee program - not sure what to do with that, probably someone else could suggest.

My experience consists of advertising, branding, public & media relations, event management and marketing. I guess it covers everything in NOC 1123. Yup with the experience part I would like to ask others lets c, who comes up with an answer.

As long as you have paid work exp. It will be counted.
You're good to go
