I submitted my Canadian PR application in November 2020 under my Primary NOC 1122 in which I had 3 years of experience in the same job. My previous employer gave a very vague description of my job and refused to revise the reference letter in a clearer way. So I decided to stick with NOC code and explain myself in the letter of explanation.
Below are the responsibilities mentioned in my reference letter working as a Business Analyst in the Institutional and Retail Investments Department reporting to Manager Sales strategy and Projects;

However, I would like to take this opportunity to further elaborate on the points already mentioned in the reference letter in case you require further clarity:
- Work in liaison with Admin, Compliance, CCU, SQA, Marketing, investment management, Operations, Information Technology, Product Development and Finance for day to day activities and implementation of different cross-functional projects.
- Conduct Trainings for Products, Financial markets and Customer Relationship Management through BST and Incubation Centre.
- Review and analysis of performance and suggesting strategies for improvement and growth.
- Assist in management of Cirque Privilege Services and make suggestions to improve service quality and grow customer base and Assets under management.
- Assist in management of Lead Referral Program to increase lead generation through referrals from existing clients on website with the help of a reward management system.
- Assist in management of Client Deepening Program which aims grow portfolios of existing clients and reactivate dormant accounts with high potential by setting targets for teams, reviewing performance and setting rewards.
- Assist in Review of processes and turnaround times to suggest changes to improve efficiency and automate tasks in liaison with different departments (Process Re-engineering Project).
I am considering raising a webform to change my NOC if I fall under a different NOC. Would really appreciate your advice on this matter.
