I hope you will get feedback very soon.

What was written in your 2nd AOR? Did they mentioned the processing time or when can you expect to get some kind of feedback from them?

For me they wrote that I'm required to contact them directly if I have not received any instructions within 12 months....

Another guy was told 6 months for the same.

I hope this doesn't mean that I have to wait 12 months until something happens.

Do you think either 12 or 8 or 6 months they write to applicants is actually a standard reply that is linked to the particular visa office who send the AOR OR it is rather linked to the particular case and would like to give the applicants some guidance on when they can expect the next step?

Hi friend,

I believe that its the standard average processing time for the visa office. Eventhough my visa office (london) says that "to contact them if not got any reply within 8 months", the status changes to "in process" in 5-6 months time. and after that medicals in 1 month time.
