My wife will be applying for NOC 1111 in a few weeks. This is all very new and we are trying to gather all the documents, schedule IELTS, request ECA from WES etc. We are hoping to get everything ready by end of this month. Any predictions on when the cap will be reached NOC 1111?

For proof of settlement funds, are bank statements mandatory? I read on a licensed Immigration Rep's website that all we would need is a bank certificate stating the amount in CAD. Can someone confirm this info?

Hi guys I have just started my application preparation. I shall be able to complete it only in a month's time. I am looking for 1113. How's the demand for 1113? I am not too sure if I will be able to make it. The only delay will be by Wes.

You need bank certificates as well as other supporting documents to corroborate bank statement. Its better to give more than one document.

1111 is added this year only and will take sometime to get filled in as most of the people would wait for Transcripts, ECA and IELTS . So may be after 20th May, it would start to pick up once the documents sets would be ready. Just a guess. You never know which part of the world people are sending their applications from.

I have a query and would like some thoughts.

I have completed the US CPA Exam but my application for a CPA licence from a US state board is pending. On question 7 of Schedule A, can I put this as 1 year of "Trade school or other post secondary school" and fill out the details in the box below that? If I note this as a part of education, what kind of evidence would I need to provide? Also, under question 9, can I mention the state board that the application for the licence is pending as a professional organization and put the details, noting "licence pending" under activity?

Or should I just leave out the fact that I did the CPA Exam altogether and just use my other degrees?

I welcome your comments and suggestions.

Hey all

I am applying for FSW 2014. If I will send my file within 10 days to CIC then will it be within the cap?

I am really worried that if it will reach after the cap reached then everything I have done will be useless.

I will apply under 1111 or 0111.

Pls... guys share me info if some one have knowledge about it.

Paddy is totally right.

But if you cant arrange bank statements and you give bank certificates then also its fine.
Even I am applying with Bank Certificate.

Even Fixed Deposit is considered for it.

Need Help

I am planning to apply for FSW2014 under 1112

I got 6 years experience in Internation Investment banks in India.

My qualifications - CFA & MS FINANCE from ICFAI.

Got my IELTS score overall band of 6.5

How do i get my education assessed ? WES has got a very complicated procedure of asking me to visit my universities and request them to send my credentials directly to the ECA office in canada.

Should i contact any immigration lawyer for hassle free procedure.

Appreciate everyones help.

Since you haven't got the certificate to prove you passed the CPA exam, it won't be considered. Fortunately, you have other qualifications so go with those. All the best.

As far as I know a CPA license is required only if you want to start your own practice. If you work for a Big 4 or any other company for that matter, you do not need a license. For FSW purposes, you can send a photocopy of your transcript from NASBA that you would have received on passing all the sections of Uniform CPA exam to WES for evaluation. In addition to that you should also request NASBA to send a copy of the transcript in a sealed envelope to WES. The request form is available on WES website under required documents section when you apply for credential evaluation. Hope this helps.

Remember your CPA is good only in the U.S. although it is recognized in other countries. For Canadian CA you would need to take Chartered Accountants Reciprocity Exam (CARE)...more info http://www.nysscpa.org/cpajournal/1999/1299/f401299a.html

Dear All,

My question is although not relevant to NOC 1111 or 1112 but very relevant to the discussion going on. I need to ask you that I have a graduation in Telecommunication Engineering with 6 years of experience in Eligible occupation of Computer Network Technician (2281). Now, my question is that am I eligible to apply. Someone told me that I can't so because there is no occupation list named: telecommunication engineer in 50 eligible occupations. Is this logical or I am being misguided? Awaiting Reply

I will give you an example that might help.

NOC 2173 is for Software engineers and designers. Do you think people who apply to this NOC have a Software Engineering degree? The answer is no, because as far as I know they are most likely Computer Engineers. For your NOC, please read this article http://www23.statcan.gc.ca/imdb/p3VD.pl?Function=getVD&TVD=122372&CVD=122376&CPV=2281&CST=01012011&CLV=4&MLV=4

Thanks for all the responses.

I'm not claiming any points for it, I was just wondering if I should mention it and include my letter from NASBA saying I completed the Exam. (I think I'm going to do this.)

Yes. This is the plan. To get Canadian CA through reciprocity.

Any thoughts on the second part of my previous question: under question 9, can I mention the state board that the application for the licence is pending as a professional organization and put the details, noting "licence pending" under activity? Or just don't mention it there.
