Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi,

Me and my spouse both are working in well known s/w companies. I am having 8 years of exp while my spouse has 6 years of exp. My designation is project lead whereas spouse designation is Lead Engineer. Both of us are leading team of around 5 people. That is also on and off. I mean depending upon project ...sometimes it is indivisual contribution and some time it is team handling as well.

So do we qualify for NOC 0213?

If you don't do the following, i.e. Manage
Control the budget and expenditures of the department, company or project
Recruit and supervise computer analysts, engineers, programmers, technicians and other personnel and oversee their professional development and training.[/color]

Then it is unlikely you would qualify.

My take - you DO NOT perform role of a manager; you may be a supervisor (which most tech/project leads are), but not a manager;having said that, you could try to give an application based on NOC 0213; just to let you know I have heard quite a few ppl getting rejected in this NOC;

Please remember, 0213 is a managerial position regardless whatever do you even same role as mentioned against 0213. Most important is CHC verifies the position/title and randumely for the responsibilities. So be informed and very careful while applying for Immigration. Refrain from applying is better than getting rejected.

why? when one is allowed to re-apply with a fixed-up application then how is your statement true... fear of rejection or fear of attempt?

i believe all above highlighted duties are director level not managarial level as Assistant manager is also come in 0 catagory .

i am of the opinion that they are not much concerned about titles (at least at CIO Sydney). however, they will obviously look at your duties deeply. and i also think it is better to apply than to just sit and keep worrying about rejection.

in most of the companies, the director performs the first line managerial role!!!
people & cost management is the minimum critieria of being a manager;

i have applied for NOC 0213 and by the Grace of Almighty Allah I finally received provisional acceptance letter. My current designation is Asst. Manager in a well reputed company over 4k plus employers. and i mentioned in main duties as below:
Plan, organize and design network solutions, meeting with customers,etc
