NOC 0213 - do we need Credential Assessment?

For those under NOC 0213 who got approved, did you have your credentials and experience assessed?

is that only applicable to licensed and regulated professions only?

nope, its not required / mandatory to get your exp or education access from any agency.. for NOC 0213

But if you want to become member of some canadian governing body of IT like CIPS and get some designation then you have to get the assessment.

For immigiration under FSW Cat1 I don't think you have to do this..

Yes, I am in NOC '0213' , there are many IT jobs ( for development,support,QA testing/SQA) For actual IT manager jobs here in canada you have to have @ 15 yrs exp ( unlike India where one gets PM position in most of the cases with 7-9 yrs of exp )

Also the hiring is bit slow compare to India and USA, but good thing is you see opening around..
