NOA or T4 slips request by CIC

Hi everyone!

I got an email from CIC asking for medical, my COC and NOA or T4 slips from my prospective employer.
I already request for my COC and I'm done with my medical as well. My problem is with NOA or T4 slips. I ask my employer for a copy of their NOA or T4 slips for the past two years. They already have the 2012 but still waiting for2013. Does anybody in this forum have an idea on which month the canada government release T4 slips? I am worried because the CIC give me 30 days to comply for the said matters.

Ask your employer about the NOA, it's easy to get in Canada Revenue Agency (5-6 business days).

I already ask them but they said, they haven't received yet the 2013. I am worried that if I can't submit at the alotted time that they gave, it might lead to the refusal of my Visa.

I guess you have to ask make an explanation letter to the CIC and tell them that they havent received the NOA or T4 yet for 2013. The filing for 2013 tax year in Canada is around February-April 2014.
Ask a letter from your employer so you can submit it. Also you can ask them the slips that was given to them from their corresponding jobs in Canada(it should be available by now) for the tax purposes. It actually states there how much they earned last year. The reason behind this is, they must show to the CIC that they can afford to pay you once you got approved as Live-in-Caregiver.

What kind of slip? I already have their T4 slip for 2012. One more thing that confuse me is, in the letter that the CIC gave me, it was written their that I must comply within 30 days but in the letter that they gave to the employer, it is 60 days.

Hi,

The t4 is already available for 2013 tax year. Your employer should have received it by now since the last month for filing the tax is April 2014. As, for your email, I guess it's clerical error, but to be safe you have to comply within 30 days and explain the situation.
